Some controller mapping suggestions
game looks and feels great, but one thing I really didn't like (which was kinda important and often used) is stuff bound to L2/R3. prolly not an issue with mouse & keyboard, but pushing the stick just feels clunky in general outside your average sprint/crouch toggle (and iirc on the hardware side the switch for those is the first one to go).

my suggestion would be to change the roll to jump double-tap, and the sidestep to block+moving back. alternatively block+kick could also work for rolling.
of course everybody prefers different settings, but combinations are hardly ever supported in keymappings, supporting those would probably be the best to cover all aspects.

to test it a npc arena might be a nice addition too, so you can train for combat without having to go through the intro and load a whole stage (but that's just an idea. :) ).

Appreciate the suggestion here Fazeball! Controller mapping is still under construction, there will be definitely changes as we get close to the release! Thank you! :)

np, given how barebones the input window is I assumed as much. ;)
for me the more essential a function is the more easier and fluid it should be able to be performed.

another thought btw: the right stick has no use besides R3 for roll, maybe getting rid of the aim button to draw the bow and combine it with the right stick would open it up to be used with something else (like roll :>). what I mean is like some other games do it, once you move it you automatically aim. you could go even further and combine it with fire if you let it snap back, which would mean during gameplay you just have to move the right stick to aim, let it go and you fire, all in one smooth and single motion (drawback would be you can't stow it without firing, but just shoot at the floor in front of you and grab the arrow again. not perfect but I rather have simplicity in combat).

oh, and while you're at it maybe an extra sensitivity slider for aiming. :squirtyay:
