I am new to this game. Is there an optimal layout for your shop?
If so, can you link me screenshots to it? I want to set up my shop to have the best looking/most efficient layout for it.

Hi so as a few Tipps:
  • Make sure all Selling Furniture is accessible by the Customers (e.g. facing the right way, not obstructed etc.
  • Make sure you have a lot of Room in front of the Furniture for Customers to be able to walk and minimize them Bumping into each other
  • Pay a Visit to Shop Titan Central, its sort of a Wiki with Guides for all things Shop Titans
  • Make sure your Bins and Trunks are not in the Way of Customers, get the Basement (and possibly the Expansion Pack) when you hit the appropriate Level and move all there
  • Here is a good Endgame Layout by Noodle8offFSM: https://www.reddit.com/r/shoptitans/comments/zaufmf/best_layout_for_shop_with_all_rooms_unlocked/

Good points given above. A few more:

- Put your counter in a central location reasonably close to the door, with space around it for customers to wait.
- Include decorative items evenly scattered, like plants, bookcases, statues, etc. Customers will stop to look at these, which gives you free energy. This includes the pets like cat, hamster, etc.
- Some game mechanics to be aware of:
-- The size of your counter determines how many customers can wait to make a purchase at one time. The cap goes up at counter levels 6 and 11. Counter level also determines energy earned per sale, and this goes up a bit with each level.
-- How many racks/shelves/tables/mannequins you have out, and what level they are, determines your maximum energy. Always be upgrading a rack, storage bin, something.
-- How many items are actually on your shelves determines how quickly new customers walk in the door. More visible items = more customers entering.
-- Customers have the same classes as heroes (fighters, mages, etc.) and will only purchase items their class can equip.

Here is a shot of my current shop. I have pretty good customer inflow and turnover, with no obstructions and a lot of decorations to generate more energy. "Good looking" is very subjective, so decorate however you like.

Thank you. Basic rugs, deco items, and some starting wall/floor textures don't cost very much so try different items and layouts to see what you like. You may know this but if you zoom into town and click on the houses in the middle you can see the shops of your guildmates for more ideas (you've joined a guild, right?)
