- Evelyn for wands and runestones (and +25% EXP)
- Yolanda for pets and capes (and +5% chance to succeed with ... 'talking' to customers to maybe get energy)
- Mundra for moonstones and random weapons with unique enchants (and always having full moon active, aka being able to craft items you usually can only craft during full moon, even though they require Sondra to craft them, not Mundra)
- Roxanne for guns and crossbows (and -50% break chance for all equip)
- Kaipo for Desserts ... and sadly only Desserts (and the King buys 2 things each time he comes)
Each of these workers must be bought with money and it only unlocks for you. BUT you still can invest in the worker buildings even if you don't own them, so that your guild members can still level them up properly. And I think they have some level requirements, like all workers, but that's probably not that relevant.Btw, Workers are on sale once per year. during every Black Friday usually 3 random workers are on sale. which is why I eventually decided to buy exactly 1 worker per year, since I think 15€ per year seems acceptable for a game that I open every day. So next sale should be in a month. Sadly being on sale doesn't always mean that they're much cheaper, since they like to instead increase the gems you get when buying them, so they're just slightly cheaper but you get more gems than normal. Since buying workers also always gives you gems.
From my opinion workers are the best way to spend money in this game (just ignore all those events with 2 blueprints and some cosmetics every 1 or 2 weeks, they're just annoying) The royal merchant subscription is ... a subscription, which is why I hate it by definition, even though I really wish I could at least benefit from its 'repair broken equipment with gold' buff .... but luckily Evelyn's -50% break chance does compensate for it at least partially (and is a one time purchase, not a stupid subscription). And I probably don't even have to mention the rest ... which is all stuff you can get by simply playing.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not telling you that you should spend money on this. Just, that if you really want to spend money those workers are the best way to spend money, since they're one time purchases that permanently unlock new content that can't be unlocked in any other way. And the content they unlock is actually somewhat decent. Though if it's worth the money is obviously still a subjective thing. With all workers you're quickly at the price of an AAA title ....
And btw, since I started playing they added a total of 5 new workers into the game, 3 of them being money only workers. (which is why so far I always lacked 3 workers whenever I bought a new worker), so be aware of that they might release even more new money only worker in the future. Though it's not like you really need them to play the game, all items they craft can also be bought on the market from other players. But if you're a completionist, like me, it's probably a bigger issue.
One last thing, any other requirements for said 5 workers? Say someone who's a level-1 merchant, with 5 gold, and 2 gems, can they in theory still purchase and use them? Or do other requirements apply?
...ok, I guess their level requirement is mentioned in the patch notes. For Kaipo and Yolanda you seem to need lvl 21. For Mundra ..... it is not mentioned? But Sondra needs lvl 27, so maybe Mundra as well. But in general those are levels you can reach very quickly, only at like lvl 40 the leveling really slows down. You can either buy them when you click on their building, or, in the real money shop in the top right corner, is also a section for each individual worker you didn't buy yet.
This is it. You unlock them in the same dialogue.
