Already did and have gotten more enjoyment from it than from many retail priced games and have yet to spend a penny.

I'm in a end game guild with some members that have never spent any money and are still enjoying the game after a year. All F2P games have pay options to accelerate faster. This is one of the only ones that can actually still be played for free. It is difficult not to pay the $15 a month once you're at the end game just to be able to repair with gold. But the game can't exist without support and that's a very small price for thousands of hours of casual no stress entertainment. A year in and I love playing every day still.

yea the repair with gold is the real pay wall , i dont believe the game cant exist with current monetization. just because of what it cost to maintain and what they bring in. ya know u buy the sub , get the packs for bis items and unlock the crafters it 100's of $ which is not a small price.

It is sort of pay to play since you need to cough up 10 bucks USD a month to repair your items after level 60. You can play it without the repair but you won't make much progress and it won't be very fun since you will fail many events and won't ever be able to have good hero gear. So in summary, play until lvl 60 then either pay or quit.

Even if you pay - all your money spent in this game won't be vapourized by someone, who pay more.

Weird, I never got the monthly subscription so far or in general did spend money besides buying 2 workers and am lvl 61 and still have over 400 repair kits and my A-team can clear any content I have unlocked so far. Or do you want to tell me that I still need to play a few years until I reach the point of the game where I will have actual problems?

I personally simply decided to buy 1 worker on each black friday event, since paying once per year for a game I play every day seems fine to me.

wow so many noob to def the game gg dev u get a good job on grabbing cash

It's not even the repair part the paywall. The game literally blocks WORKERS that you need to craft guns and capes.
If they paywalled Champions it would be fine, but you can't even craft?

It's not like that's a huge problem. There is no real reason to have to craft them. You only really would need them for a few of your heroes, and for those few you can also simply buy them from the market. Or maybe request them in your guild if others can craft them.

I love this game, but yes, they are indeeeed a tiny little bit greedy, not gonna lie.
For me it is okay, but I can understand why people are annoyed.

One good example is: Other games gives you a lot of stuff to celebrate an anniversary.
Here on the first day of 3-years-celebration a huge popup appears asking for even more money.

Its okay. Not cool, but okay.

It's sad, I play the game myself but I just find it sad how many claim that the game is NOT a p2w, complete nonsense...

This game is indirectly a full p2w game in any form. But the worst is questing, which is pretty much the most important way to get resources at all, if your item is destroyed, you can't repair it unless you buy a VIP every month or don't have any repair kits at all. And since recently you've been getting fewer repair kits than was the case back then, so some want to get people to spend more money.

And that was just the most harmless.

I myself have been playing the game very actively for years but nobody can tell me that this game is not p2w you hypocrites...

Sorry for my English
But I guess you'll get what I was getting at.

if there was PvP i would understand p2w argument.

I've been playing for over a year without paying a cent. The shop is fully built, all the furniture is level 15, including the racks with resources. Investments are growing, the heroes are dressed, all events are easy to pass. This game can be played without donation.

No u cant.

The fact that you can't repair your items without a VIP already makes it a P2W. Repair kits are now harder to get and you won't be able to upgrade your character unless you're a VIP. In this case you will not succeed in many events such as GS or the new event that will appear on the 20th, Dragon Invasion. Unless you're willing to buy VIP, you won't be able to join these two events unless you have enough repair kits, which is highly unlikely. You are also prevented from equipping your hero. It would be a pity if you pay for several slides for an item but you are not able to save it from damage.
