Should i focus my shop around all items? Or just a few for maximum profit? Thanks.
Im a new player, so please give me any tips you can think of :D
Mainly, im not sure if i should focus on all items at the same time, or specialize in a few for maximum efficiency. Thanks!

Majority of the game, you should be crafting everything and mastering everything, from the bottom tiers then eventually moving up to the highest tier, but this is super late game and will take you over a thousand hours. That's just the overall goal, just craft everything.

But in terms of specialisation, you want to be saving your ascension shards until you realise what you like to craft and what you get a lot of from questing (you kind of have to be conscious about this). You want to specialise one type for every common/rare resource type.
Eg.
Iron/Steel - Swords
Leather/Fabric - Leather Armour
Wood/Ironwood - Bows
Herbs/Oil - Runes

The above are just examples but that's basically the formula. You want to save shards and then pump them into the item type.

The reason you want to craft everything is because you will always encounter items from quests or from vendors selling stuff to you, so when you reach a certain milestone for an item, the value of it goes up permanently. So by aiming to master everything you're basically working to make every single item have a permanent value increase as a future investment. Even your fodder that you discount, even though you lose 50% of it, you save more because you mastered it and the value is higher than the base value.

So to sum up my horrible wall of text.
1. Craft everything, master everything, at your own pace for a permanent value increase
2. Select 4 item types when you have progressed far in the game and have amassed a lot of ascension shards. Be conscious about what you sell the most, what you enjoy crafting the most.

If you're a market player, just sell everything on the market, it works but it's damn boring imo to be stuck in menus. Do a bit of both
