Socialism is a model of economy in which a society determines the direction of its own resources. Trumpers are perpetrators of capitalism. The hate society, and want to foster a world full of as much poverty and war and suffering as possible. So, they'll never be this sort of actual socialist.
The trumper's definition of socialism is a model of government that looks something more like a weird mixture of totalitarian communism and extremely fascist imperialism. The difference between 'model of economy' and 'model of government' is apparently too complex for the backward hicks of Yokelville to comprehend. They already are this type of socialist, as demonstrated by their demand for "deprivatized capitalism", which is just a long way of saying communism.
The best way for tax dollars to benefit the people is for it to remain in the hands of those people. Taxation is slavery. Throw off the shackles.
A "Democratic Socialist" is really just a socialist (which is really just a communist) trying to rebrand itself to be more palatable to people in democracies.
He can say he's in favor of capitalism all he wants. Just makes him a liar when he proposes and supports blatantly uncapitalistic policies.
