Does this annoy anyone else?
Look, I really enjoy this game - I love the designs, and the idea that it's just a boss-rush mode is great. I love that the gameplay is mostly nice and simple "Shoot the thing, then smash the thing" logic...

But now I'm on the final boss and everything that I find negative about the game is put into one section and it's frustrating as hell.
- Unskippable intro. Sure, it's only a few seconds, but I want to get into the gameplay.

- Limited space for no reason. Basically screen-edging. YOu're having a fight in SPACE, but if you go to the edge of the screen you can't progress, meaning you have no safe distance - but no logic to say why... which would be fine if it wasnt for;

- Bullets can hurt you from offscreen. Missiles will disappear off screen and then return, the gun-mode boss shoots this yellow orbs that fire bullets at your position... and still do so if they go behind you and offscreen. So you've no way to know where they're coming from which means no way of really dodging them.

- Zoomed camera that doesn't help. This is mainly for a couple of attacks that I can't see coming until it's too late. The foot-laser thing that starts happening off-screen, and by the time I've seen what's happening, I'm hit by the laser that I can't move fast enough to avoid.

- Speaking of which, unavoidable damage. (At least at this point it appears that way.) There's a motorcycle mode that basically circles around the edges of the screen and shooting inwards. So you have to wait in the centre of the screen to avoid it - only it then morphs into something else by basically teleporting to the centre of the screen doing damage to you. The red orb thing appears for a moment, at which time the only way to damage it is to go up to it and use the limited range guitar attack... which is great... but then the orb moves and rather than just pushing you back (as you can't move fast enough to get out of the way), it usually pushes you up/down into the direct path of it's own bullets, meaning you will 9 times out of 10 take damage for something you can't avoid.

- Which means, finally, that the grind is the only way to progress... Don't worry, if you're struggling, you can buy extra weaponry or lives to brute force your way through. Sure... but you have to replay levels to earn that cash in a decent amount, or just fail over and over until you get the amount needed to buy the next 1 heart upgrade. Or just "git good", but that seems impossible when there's so many unavoidable damage traps. (Mind you, what usually happens at this point is that I rage for a bit, return to the game and kill it by pure chance... so fk knows! :P)

Yeah I'm thinking the same as you for the last boss, really annoying and not fair at all

Annoyingly, I did exactly what I said would happen. Raged for a bit, then completed it with pure chance. :P Really enjoy the game, just wish it was a bit more fair.
