Stuck in the third ruins

I am not able to build the 2. Level Axe. It's impossible, because i never have even the slightest quantity to reach the Goldoterion entry with morph. It's just not enough to finish the recipe. Farming more items does not help.

According to a guide, i need:

Eiche. (Check)
At least two units of Polishing Powder. (I need three, two are impossible)
A Metal-type ingredient. (Check)
A second Metal-type ingredient, with Fire Element level 4. -> None, i have only 1 fire
Goldoterion (requires Fire Element level 3). (Check)

It seems i need a second Metal-type ingrdient with Fire Element level 4. Where can i get the metal type with 4 fires, and how a better polishing powder? My powders have only level2.

For Metal, Regular Ingots can be 4 fire elements.. alternatively, Holynut Lumber is 9 fire and is also both lumber and metal.

Make sure you get as much quality as you can, and slap on 3 fully leveled traits.. it doesnt have to be quality and quality+.. it can be speed charge, health charge etc.. but max it out, doing that should be enough to bump your item by +1 element in most cases.

You can max traits easily by making neutralizers and zettel and Travelers water orb.. they need each other to make, so you can loop the recipes to increase the lvls of the traits.

Also, if you havent, items dropped depends on the quality of your equipped tools.. so maybe make a regular axe at 600quality 1st and gather with that. you dont have to go from the axe you made at the beginning of the game -> goldoterion.

but yea could totally be you just need the next +max quality upgrade in the skill tree.. i know i was also stuck on the axe for a while, but i dont remember when i broke that barrier.

What means outmaxing in that specific point? Are we talking about recreation? So i just need to push the max. quality?

Ah, that may be the key. I have made an better Axe trought recreation tool, but i haven't equipt it yet. That is worth a try.

For all those, having the same trouble.

It's not necessary to build the Goldoterion anyway. It's just enough to create a level 2 hand-axe, which will be enough to proceed.

In the further progress, it was also necessary to build a level 2 sicle. Those have been the only Must have tools in my whole playtrought. Anything else is more or less optional, but i recommend to build better tools - because you benefit extremely, especially for the better late game weapons.

You can get some materials dedicated to better tools also from the mount, which can grab out some intregents sometimes. But this is more or less very luck depending.
