I installed 2K22 and this error popped up
WWE2K22_x64.exe Application error
The Exception illegal instruction
An attempt was made to execute an illegal instruction.
(0xc00001d) occured int he application at location 0x00007FF707089EC0.

Click ok to terminate program.

This error continues even after validating files.

Any ideas people?

What are your specs? That could be because your processor doesn't run the AVX instruction set.

That's up to you.

The minimum specs say you need an AVX-Compatible processor. Steam has a function that tells you whether AVX is supported. You had the information with you before buying the game.

Solving the problem means getting a processor that runs AVX. That's the only answer I have in this situation.
