If the game is not launching at all (says running then stops completely), reinstall Steam, but do not uninstall Steam, simply run the installer over the current version and this usually fixes this issue if it is regarding the Steam client files being missing or corrupt.
There is also another symptom where there may be two instances of the game (or Steam client) running in task manager. this fix would be simply to stop all Steam processes and reload Steam client.

imagine if every game required "reinstalling steam" lol, stop blaming steam is well known these games have crap coding and plenty of issues because devs dont give crap about bug fixes updates, they release the product as it is, and wait for new game release.

because it always had ♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimisation and compatibility issues. why monster hunter or elden ring or any other top notch game don't get these reviews? because they don't have spaghetti code and don't crash randomly for no reason
