I lucked out on the speed glitch!

So when I first got the game, it was SLOW as heck. Comically slow. So I looked up all the support topics, downgraded my res, deleted most of the audience and added video settings. It got a bit better, but it was still kind of on easy mode because you could see them choreograph their moves so easily. It was cool, I got a real intensive up-close tutorial on the game engine.

Then the update came, and with all of those settings tuned down, the opposite effect happened. I went into ultra ludicrous speeds! It caught me off guard, but I adjusted to it quickly since I already spent a day on slow motion. Got to grind my MyRise stats at double speed and play around with my first character a bit.

Then I figured... hey wait, my previous solution was to downgrade everything to make it faster... and I started toggling every single option I could at the max resolution my monitor could support. Now it looks amazeballs and it runs... just kinda fast. Like at around 125% of what normal motion would look like. I am totally cool with this, but I guess I'm fortunate. Anyhow, I saw a lot of game balancing options already in use (strike damage, grapple ease, etc) and was thinking... Maybe just add an option for game speed, if possible? I'm sure in a week or two the devs will fix the issue, but from a gameplay aspect, it would be useful to be able to set the game speed. It fixes so many performance issues and sometimes you just want to beat on Rey Mysterio on slow motion so you can hear all of his bones break one by one.

Do you know how to improve load times for the main menu, loading caw list in edit mode, or loading into the highlight reel?

how did u fix the fast motion thing mine is doing same after update and i cant fix it

its a glitch in the render engine, as the animation system is locked to 60fps, pushing beyond that just accelerates animations, theres a few ways to lock that down however, some work better than others though, just comes down to whether you want benny hills speeds that break the game, or not.

Try updating nvidia experience drivers, then go into options, extras, graphics extras and set the timing option. It seemed to work fine and I'm no longer at slightly boosted speed.
