I've tried pointing out to people , most games ( and movies ) - most of their sales are made in the first push with all the advertising- and like the push to pre-order; this tends to mena they've "taken the money and run" before the quality of the game has really filtered through ' word of mouth' - with social media making word of mouth faster- this becomes less true- and advertising shifts to " influencing the influencers"

extending the profitability of games means they have some options after most of the people who were interested buy their game;
"games as a live service" makes me shiver ( - so does "windows as live service" - time to brush up on ubuntu I guess.?) , DLC ( we see how intensely they are willing to screw sections of their playerbase in order to protect their DLC -- not necessarily beyond understandable- but revealing how much ire they risk and dev effort that cost- follow the money trail to see someone's priorities right)
- and of course, - very related to 'live service' is "Loot Box" and "NFT" additions to games.

Why do i bring this up- what does it have to do with your quip?
because in that light- I was wondering where do we fit the letter for

you might look at our fixes - some were able to salvage old saves with some cleanup-
harder to do if it won't load - but in particular I've been told of myRise PCs that broke saves because they used hair no longer in game - causing a crash as the pipeline chokes on an exception call. Another was apparently some people's EYES had been changed - hard to cathc without crash logs.

I have to say though if you're trying to load a pre- 1.09 MyRise, you have to understand- that is data NOT compatible with later game versions.
Pretty common in "Early Access" titles, almost unheard of in a FullRelease by a major publisher ( no matter how small underdog the studio is- they're under a BigDog )

It sucked they did what they did - even if I understand WHY- but it's done-
and looks like from the patch screen; not only are they aware of the Issue; they are actively trying to prevent doing it again.

but can we agree under the circumstances; this is the best possible outcome?It's simply not realistic to expect any dev- ever- to roll back a patch to recover save-games.
You can revert your client to patch 1.08 if you simply can't save your MyUniverse.

if I misunderstood and you're having issues with even fresh myrises and no old corrupted data in your slots-
then I'm sorry, I misunderstood - but then you have to understand- people have played new games since then- so the problem isn't the mode , for everyone.

My problem is occurring when trying to load the MyRise character. I made it on patch 1.09 and had the issue occur on patch 1.09 (haven't played any other modes yet)
also haven't seen any error messages showing corrupted save data either, just infinite loading...

I made another character and it worked fine on patch 1.09 and still works on patch 1.10, just a bummer the character I spent a lot of time on wont load anymore.. was hoping it would've been fixed on patch 1.10

I did make that character with the new eyes that were added, but not on the second character.

infinite loading , if it's stuck user won't get error messages onscreen - because its stuck so:
generally means it's trying to read corrupt / invalid data
( invalid execution calls - null variables can cause endless repeating exceptions)
unless you can check your error logs, you're going to have to bug report that-
I'm not getting paid enough - and neither is anyone else on forums i bet- to show you how to read those if you don't already know - so
"RTFM" or call techsupport *, as always, are your options, innit?

...but in this case it's not the 1.09 patch responsible.
as to eyes, the new eyes weren't the problem-
the problem was people had data with OLD eyes ( as a reported example ) that no longer EXISTED after the patch
so you had a call that Couldn't execute to the graphics handler:

there were a good few hidden like that " gotchas"
( who thinks to fix a CC's *eyes* when it doesn't work and they're trying to fix it? pretty much no one- alot of people had to mass deletes )

that's a no-brainer- BUT:

by sending proper bug reports you put attention that the sales they already made, require attention as well.

when two people that if they were in the same room would LITERALLY be brawl to touch all four walls BOTH keep saying that same thing, you gotta wonder if maybe there's something to it

It's not about making the bug reports though, we have done all we can so now it's up to the devs to listen to people and fix the issue already. I made a 2K "support" bug report a whole month ago and they said that they are aware of the problem and will fix it. We have had two big patches since then and they haven't fixed it at all. What makes you think that making more bug reports about the same problem that they already know about is going to fix anything? They already proved that they don't give a damn and frankly I am pissed off at their "support" department. All it seems like to me is that we are contacting people sitting in an office that have no contact with the outside world and they know nothing about how to fix these reported issues.

They are just there to tell customers some BS so that they don't have to fix the issue. That right there sounds like a scam to me and not support at all. How are you the "support" department if you can't contact the developers of the game to tell them about reported problems so that they can queue them to be fixed and then released in a future patch. That totally defeats the purpose of people even making bug reports and contacting 2K "support" in the first place. I am just going to install WWE 2K20 and play that story mode instead before the servers are offline. Sure the story mode was cringe, but at least it worked and didn't infinite load until I'm 80 years old. Hell I would probably die of old age before WWE 2K22 would load MyRise so it wouldn't be worth my time or my heart attack.

They're the first tier Support team, not the developers. Their job is to go through basic troubleshooting with everyone to eliminate the system from the possible causes of the issue. That's why they ask you to reinstall and so on.

Once you've shown it's not your system, they ask for information from you to create a proper bug report for the developers. Once that's sent, it's in the developers' hands and things take time to replicate on their side and diagnose, fix (without breaking anything else), test and get into the next patch. Support don't get anything like progress reports and an issue isn't always guaranteed to be able to be fixed. They also rarely release patches for a single issue so it could be a wait for that future patch where your desired fix is implemented.

WWE2k22 MyRise crash

I went through a significant part of the plot, new stories were not opened, I had to play monotonous matches in which I constantly defended my US title on RAW, I changed the location to the gym, and received new challenges from units, after I accepted the challenge from Seth Rollins, the game froze, I re-entered, and MyRise it no longer loads, while the game itself does not hang and does not crash, just endless loading. It turns out that a dozen hours were played in vain by me...

I had the same problem except it happened to me in the Female MyRise. I was talking to Adam Pierce on Smackdown Live and he said I would be the #1 spot in the Royal Rumble against 30 other women to earn my spot in the Main Event of Wrestlemania. I accepted the mission and then the game crashed on me. I restarted the game and tried to load MyRise again and it would infinite load forever. This still happens on the newest 1.12 patch as well. I am sick and tired of waiting! FIX THIS 2K!!! Well at least it is nice to know that I am not the only one having this game breaking glitch.

I agree that contacting 2K Support is a big waste of time. They will just shrug off any issues that you report and just tell you the generic "we are aware of the issue" BS excuse. Anyways, after the newest 1.12 patch I am still not able to play MyRise. It infinite loads forever but this time it was even worse. It actually made my entire computer freeze and it was making weird beeping and screeching sounds. I had to hard shut down my computer because it wasn't responding at all. So don't let MyRise load too long because it can and will lock up your entire computer. Did the newest 1.12 patch fix the game breaking infinite loading bug for any of you? I am sick of this garbage, until this is fixed I am going to stop playing WWE 2K22 altogether and try my luck with WWE 2K20 before their servers shut down completely. At least after all the patches WWE 2K20 is somewhat playable compared to this trash.

Update 1.12 disaster

Hello, only me after the update 1.12 my career doesn't work anymore, loading endlessly, then in the new hairstyles there is a defect in the neck of the models, in more years removed from the beard models that they had just added, in short, a disaster update not to mention that I downloaded 39 gigs!
