How do you shoot a weapon?

Was watching a friend play as an Antag. He had a gun, had his target alone, and he tried to shoot him. Clicking only ejected rounds form the gun, it never fired at his target.

How does combat work in this game? I've checked the wiki but as you might expect, it's still new so it's not populated with the information that is required.

Tell them to try right-clicking

Pretty sure that's what he was doing but it just kept ejecting rounds and never shooting the weapon.

ok so ask them to search it up on google then i ran out of ideas. there is a combat mode btw. oh and funny thing. somebody on roblox said they lit themselves on fire trying to smoke a cigar

I searched it up on google and got nothing. SS13 has a wiki but it doesn't apply to SS14. Different games, different engines, different way to do certain things, etc.

Already tried that as well.

I even checked the SS14 wiki but again, it's empty since it's not complete.

I guess he will just wait until he meets someone who knows and can explain it. I was just trying to help him out and find out for him.
