Fairness and Transparency in Ban Appeals: Addressing Unacceptable Wait Times

Hello Community,

I wanted to express my concerns regarding the current appeal process. Recently, I received a ban for a first-time offense, and while I understand the need for maintaining rules and order, I was informed that the wait time for my appeal to be reviewed could be "a couple of weeks."

This seems unreasonable, especially considering how swiftly bans are issued—often within seconds of an infraction. The disparity between the speed of issuing bans and the lengthy appeal process is troubling. As a new player eager to learn and engage with the community, being sidelined for weeks over a misunderstanding or a first offense feels excessively punitive.

I believe there should be a more balanced approach to handling appeals, particularly for new players who might not be fully aware of all the rules. Quick bans coupled with protracted appeal times do not foster a welcoming or fair environment. I hope the moderation team can consider implementing a more efficient and fair system for handling appeals.

I agree, and the admins need to be kept on a tighter leash, they give bans like candy. The admins will kill this game before it ever comes out.

Yea and when a moderator leaves and you tryign to appeal a ban geuss what ban appeal denied.

I have heard many rumors and stories about SS-13 and this being filled with power tripping admins and mods. sucks.

I try to appeal a ban and the person who was moderator who ban me left the ss-14 team. Let just say the dev who made this wasent nice on the appeal. Apperntly mother nature with high wind storms that turn off my electricty and my tower is a stupid excuse for Disconnecting to the server.

I was job banned from clown for repeatedly annoying security (you know, the stuff that clown does) and I got banned from the discord because the admins are a bunch of hypocrites.
I got warned because i pointed out that one of their sticker is AI generated after my image got deleted for being one :)
