But now you want us to believe you uninstalled the whole game because of one aspect of it then reinstalled it for a completely different aspect of it, which you say has always had a future, never mind the fact that the game has fewer players now than it did A. when you uninstalled it in August and B. before this "major update". Now subtract all the bots.
Please, do tell us more about this bright PvE future.... and about people talking out of their asses because you do seem well versed in the art of it.
1. "+hp on gear for enchant level is terrible for new players in PvP."
2. "This update likely kills PvP forever since it needs more new players to be alive."
3. And with the entry being A+5 gear for HP, It is safe to say that this game now has no future."
4. "I will uninstall as I cannot see the game growing if it takes 3000+ hours just to have a minimum requirement for PvP."
The 1st statement is about the 'new at the time' update that added hp, and def as a base stat for gear. This doesn't effect PvE, only PvP
The 2nd statement is about the low player count in PvP likely being lower due to this change since players with high enchanted gear will have a larger advantage in PvP discouraging players from participating in it.
The 3rd statement explains why the 2nd statement is important, and making a conclusion based on the 1st, and 2nd statements.
The 4th statement is the action that I have taken after taking the 1st to 3rd statements into consideration.
Also you want to know more about PvE's future? sure. In both NA, and EU the servers have been growing in new players, and the end-game content has never been more active than it has been now. If you actually played the game you would have noticed that the end-game has become more active. I also see many more players in the open world killing bosses, and regularly see new players.
The low player count from steam charts is literally just the chinese servers. In china a lot of the players are moving to private servers instead of playing on the official one, so all the bots, and players from the official chinese servers are leaving. EU and NA are actually growing, but not at a faster rate than what the chinese are leaving at, so it appears that the game is losing players, when in reality the same players are playing the game, just on different chinese servers.
I have news for you, though. Picking up players in one region while losing even more in another is called dying, not growing. You don't get to count everybody playing on unofficial private servers, either. They don't contribute to the player count or to the revenue stream necessary for the game to function and... lol... grow and have a future.
But I understand. You like the game and instead of just saying "Screw you guys. I like this game" you've fallen victim to choice support bias and you're making up a bunch of BS to justify it.
don't blame him
