Thing you must know about Pacifist Trait
When you play with a Pacifist, you cant do any damage, but when you find an NPC that changes your weapon, that enable you to do damage and cast spells again :D

Idk if it is really a bug, but is a nice way to farm gold with that high % gold

It's not a bug at all, look carefully. When you switch weapons, your trait goes from Pacifist to Pacifier. It's intended and a great way to get a lot of gold.

Only problem is that you still keep the 40% hp penalty.

interesting, i didn't know you could do it and definitly thought it was not intended but looks like i'm wrong then :)

Yup. I tested this out when I decided to play pacifist. You definitely need to find another weapon since mobs drop gold as well.
