Endgame gold needs a use.

So I have reached max burden endgame and here, there is nothing to do with gold.

It is all about souls. Also iron and blood- to get a bit more souls
And yeah a little bit of gold to buy the upgrades, but you do not even use up all of your one runs gold to buy all the upgrades you unlock with souls.
So there is a huge imbalance. And a lot of gold is just lost to the void.

Could we get at least something? Maybe we can trade gold for blood or iron?
Perhaps a new way to get souls could also help? (right now I have done everything).
Or something...

Right now it feels empty to open regular chests. And all that gold that "flies" towards me is just clutter on the screen...
It used to feel so good when I found gold in this game from monsters or ect. Now when it is not at least iron or blood, then I feel like I have found nothing.

it also lets you really see how much of the risk reward of the game is geared towards getting those treasure chests. if you dont value gold you certianly play differently

Wait till you hit real endgame. The place where gold, soul stones, ore and red aether don't have a purpose. Killing enemies and bosses also has no purpose because you're max Mastery on all classes, and have maxed out the Soul Shop as well.

Eventually, the game has an end.
For some people, it's beating the game once.
For others, it's getting the true ending.
For others, it's maxing out the Soul Shop.
For still others, it's (God forbid) reaching NG+100.

If you've reached the end for you, you should call it quits.
