HOW DOES SCORING WORK IN SCARS?!?!?!?!

Its very unclear, on two separate runs I will do the same thing and get wildly different scores so what are the factors in scoring?!

You start each Scar with a score of 50,000, and depending on your actions points may be lost.

Score is lost by:

Taking damage
Picking any relics
Taking a very long time to complete the Scar
Using any Empathies

Additionally some scars rewards are based on Total points accross all classes and some are based on individual score. usually for any scar you can ignore the points if your willing to do it with most classes (i find i use a handful of empathys, take all the relics play pretty well and am gold after 8-9 classes. so no worries for those ones). The class specific scars score doesnt get you anything only speed does, you want to use max empathys on those (there is no downside) and you may want to lookup the run as some of them require weird uses of the class skill (looking at you knight perf block and Ronin reset).

@eric-belair, sure you can use all empathies when doing time-based scars (and I'm certainly not frowning upon you for such) but wouldn't you feel more accomplished if you either lowered or cut out empathies altogether? Just look at me, I barely got a gold for the archer and barbarian time challenges with a bit of trial and error.

In the Narrow Praxis scar, you have to use your Ivy Canopy at certain points so you get the spore burst affect on your weapon. And in the barbarian scar, you have to learn to take advantage of dashing as much as you can as well as take a forced hit after using Winter's Shout once. And the ronin scar is pretty straight forward given that your accuracy is on point.

Again I'm not flaming you for using empathies, I'm just saying that playing with benefits becomes tiresome after a while. So take care now!!

No, I really wouldn't feel that way. I have better things in my life to do than sit there for days doing the same thing over and over again with no real penalty other than having to do it over again and again and again... Good grief, just because you suffered doesn't mean everyone has to.
