Rogue legacy 2 is not a game that rewards fast and reckless gameplay, you're supposed to take your time, not get hit and get as much stuff as possible before dying, I learnt that the hard way, I had to slow down and not try and be so fancy with my moves and stuff and just play it regularly.
There is no timer in the game and it rewards you if you dont die, so either the evasion skill has to go up with the speed, or the speed has to go down to match your evasion skill.
I find it very taxing, but with enough point in item healing (Intelligence plus gastronomy perk) a piece of chicken or pizza will heal you right up. They game me 300-600 HP back now.
yuck
Might aswell be cheating, lol
Nasty, straightup eww.
its good for long run
You have various ways to recover later to really need the emergency heal.
Even more so when you can stack a bunch of max life boost then tank your resolve for many relics and still have a decent amount oh HP.
Except that you need the upgrades to get full HP at the boss, which you have.
But like, the blessing is super useful (if risky early-game). Temporary damage for long-term buffing. I think I've only taken the heal once, and that was because I was stuck in the dry lake.
