Actually steam review's can say more.
:)
more stuff than the first game.
no quality of life. (not counting the house rules options)
If my achievements worked, or i wasn't a moron, I'd rate it a 10/10 and a full time job. One of the first two is true though, so for now 7/10.
The runs are well timed, and even a full clear won't take you "too long", there are lots of biomes, the combat is great depending on your preferences and class choices, the bosses are fun. Pirates are the best. That is all.
-manor doesn't scale immediately and gold is more consistent to get
-relics don't scale now and you can have multiple in the same category
-you can have a favorite class and spell
-you can have a random character for 25% gold
-2nd area gives a gold bonus which makes it good for farming
-classes are more diverse and enjoyable
-you can unlock shortcuts later (i didn't get far in the first so idk if you can do that)
-you can get stat increases from losing money
-spin kicks in general are the best form of pogo jumping i've ever seen (cause you can pogo off the side of something
and it just keeps going... House rules isn't qol. it's accessibility.
