Soul shop tips and pizza route
Hi I'm trying to understand what to invest first in the soul shop, I saw some comments maybe on upgrading the first one that is the armor one "Embroidered Investments" to the max. Just want to be sure since seems to be a very rare resource for the start. Thanks to all in advance <3

Also one more question: the pizza girl route when I buy it stays unlocked the portals even for NG+?

You don't need to bother with upgrading embroidered investments past 1 rank until NG+ since I'm fairly confident you only see +1 sets for the first two sets in the base game toward the 2nd half, and runic horizons you don't see +1's until NG+.

I'd suggest buying one of each of unbreakable will, absolute strength, infinite knowledge, and master smith so you can see the full tree and have access to whatever you need. However, I'd advise pumping unbreakable will (for gold gain) and master smith (for health care, more gold gain) when you reach their caps, since the earlier you get your income rolling, the more time you should save, especially with the manor inflation becoming a nuisance. After those two, I'd focus on absolute strength for ore gain once you're hitting the caps. You're going to be hitting a red aether surplus once you buy one of each of the runes, and the ore will be the main bottleneck.

Pizza girl portals reset with each NG+, so once you buy them each time subsequently, they'll be up for that entire thread. Hope it helps.

Also: Depending on your playstyle you MIGHT want to put a 2nd rank into embroidered. You'll start finding +2 leather in the dry lake, but it's only really worth it if you want to spam relics. Beyond that there's no point until NG+.

oh wow thank you both for the info, thats what I was wondering if it was important in the first playthrough or if is only for late game things.
I was really looking to put in the gold ones for sure, thats why I as asking if the armor one should be the first one, thank you very much both of you! Made things much clearer!

after ng+ equipment and runes are the most important upgrades.
also the first ones are pretty easy to get if you do all scars.
after that i focused on will and smith for max gold every run.

also nice is the char upgrades later on, you can always spawn as scythe mage for example, or let one slot always be with random weapons and skill (good for leveling chars you dont like)

pizza girl i ignored completely after the first new game+, prices go up and its no big deal to run to a biome, most later cycles i did in one go anyway.
if you die to a boss you can lock the world and just retry the boss directly and restart the run after you kill the boss.

hmmm I see, nice I'm still trying the third boss, arrived him today, tried 3 times. Its not hard but Im not using the locking the world thing to farm for money all the way so I get there low HP, but this is fine, I like to farm a bunch, not in a hurry. Thanks for the advices! I can understand the big picture much better now. :fomtheart:

Specifically pertaining to the pizza girl portals, I don't think it's worth it to pay for the Study, Dried Lake, or Axis Mundi teleporters once you start to get into NG+, since they are all adjacent to Citadel Agartha and are therefore pretty easy to get to.

Honestly, once you get to NG+4 and higher, you'll probably finish that world Thread and move onto the next in just a couple runs if you're not unlucky. Hell, I just finished NG+6 in a single run
