What does Estuary mean in this game's context?
Because after about 5 minutes of looking through google results, the only thing I get for this word is geography.

Estuary in this game basically means "pool of souls". Like estuaries are bodies of water, Estuaries in this game are all linked to the King's soul, like rivers from an ocean. Eating the Fruit of Life means all the souls from the River Styx go into that person and prolong their life. This pool is then shared with the Estuaries.

Cool.
Now let's talk about Mehujeel. No, I have no idea how to spell his name.

Hey look, I was close.

In the last gold memory after fighting his crew, or the second to last, whatever, it is heavily implied to indirectly said that he gave his flesh to his crew, making all of them *his* Estuaries. Is this in any way what Cain did for the Estuaries we fight? It's clear that they aren't actually siblings, as indicated by Namaah's first few gold memories, and that their sense of family derives from being soul-bonded like this. Should we take what Cain said about splitting himself up too much literally? Is siring an estuary akin to giving them a piece of your soul?

That's exactly how it works. It says so in some journal entry somewhere, but I can't remember which one.

It must be one of the sun tower or... the underground area, I can't remember the name it's 4am, journals. Those are the only ones I haven't completed.
Or it's in one of those logs that doesn't get recorded in the Library. In that case, f me because my memory is so poor I'm bound to forget who J is at this rate.

TLDR it's a proper noun we only find the answer to *deep* into the lore. Like, man. It pretty much shakes the foundatin of who some of these people are.

I'm pretty sure it's one of Tubal's secret notes, but it will take me a while to check on that since they aren't stored in the libraries.

Upate: Yep. Found it. Quote: "Now as Estuaries, we have partaken from his flesh and thus share in his immortal life."

Found what derpykat quoted. Sun tower journal 5.
"Journal Entry#35"
However... it *is* stored in the library.
70 hours in and I'm just now finding sun tower 5. Really goes to show how much I bother with exploring. All the others usually spawn in my path while finding other areas, but this one made me work for it.

While you're not wrong that said journal entry also confirms it, the journal entry I was quoting was one of Tubal's secret notes.
