Aether wings not required

not sure if its juts because i don't know what the aether wings do but you don't need them to get to the platform above, you can walk off the far right chandelier and jump as you start to fall to get to the next one from there then make your way to the platform from there

Or you can enable flight in the "House Rules". Sequence breaking is fun!

It's mainly for new players to give them an idea of which biomes come in which order. You can still go there with shenanigans if you know what you're doing.

Yeah, those chandeliers were placed specifically to allow veterans to sequence break if they wanted. Originally people could go up there if they wanted, but we had a huge swath of feedback from players saying there's too much of a difficulty spike after Citadel Agartha. (People wouldn't go to the bridge, and they'd even miss the heirloom).

So the aether wing text is more or less our way of doing a "soft-lock"

you can also spin kick the two chandeliers and air dash over, or even just dragon lancer up

That happens sometimes that you have a second entrance to the study. It's very rare and i kinda like the idea. Reminds me of the first game where you could have multiple entries to another area as well.
