Can't collect more than 500-1000 gold in new biome until die
I know this game is supposed to be hard, and I like hard games, but things need to be balanced please.

In the previous patches I was enjoying this game and have done all content without many problems, I even defeated the last biome boss in the first try, but I can't remember exactly which level I finished, I think was something about 150.

After the Drifting Worlds patch, I received about 180.000 gold and was able to reach level 114. But now my characters are such weaklings that dies after an average of 5 hits (don't need to question, I have my equipment & runes updated and equipped).

I remember in previous biomes how easy is to get hit, but my characters at least are able to survive dozens of hits. I always invest in that HP leeching runes. Now in the new biome which is even harder, it seems impossible to progress.

I'm underleved? If yes, then something is wrong with the reallocation because I have done everything in the previous biomes and I don't want to go there just for grinding.

I think we can't count on keeping being "top leveled" as long as they need to turn the knobs and add/remove/adjust upgrades and skills and enemies and such. Perhaps previous "top level" is the new medium level (ish).

Other then upgrades, control/motor skills are the other area to practice - the art of not getting hit alot. i suppose.

- In every room you can do it, DON'T break stuff until you absolutely need to. There's plenty of healing to go by if you save them.
- If you have no problems clearing the Citadel, the Bridge and the Snow biome, don't go there initially. Start by the hardest biome (Suntower then Study) and when you're low on health, go back to the first 3 biomes to replenish health (through breakables and lifesteal). That's one of the reasons the unlockable teleporters exist.
(addendum to that point: you can try, if you're comfortable with the idea, to explore the citadel and bridge looking for relics, but WITHOUT killing/breaking things if possible; some relics can make your life easier)
- I've said it before, but you can play cheap. Enter a room, scan it quickly, exit, then formulate a plan. Think you can spam a spell and get rid of the most annoying enemy ? Think you can zip to the other side of the room/to safety/to another exit ? Maybe you can pick enemies off one by one ? Enemies do get their hp replenished whenever you quit/re-enter but their positions reset and their projectiles disappear so use that at your advantage.
- Don't attempt complicated platforming before making sure the area is as clear of monsters as you can make it to be.
- You don't have to kill every monster/open every chest/attempt every fairy challenge. The suntower is when you really have to ponder whether that extra chest really is worth the hassle or not. Some rooms are definitely NOT worth it so attempt to skip them or zip through them as quickly as you can. You want your goal in the tower to be the throne room and the associated boss.
- Almost dead and you're stuck in the middle of the tower with no teleporter in sight ? Return to Main Menu and reload your save; you'll be back at the Citadel.
