Yup. The more you level each class individually, the more benefits all classes get. It's to encourage you to play as all classes instead of focusing on just one or two.
What made me doubt is that when you choose the base knight class (for example), next to the class description in "Gear" menu you see the matching class rank (equip load) bonus, which kind of imply this is the only bonus you get, not the sum of all class bonuses...
