cannot get the echo boots

No matter how many times I try the challenge, or how many different characters I use, I cannot get past the very last challenge where you have to jump off the projectile after traveling up the warp. Is it because I have too much armor on and weigh too much? I honestly don't know what I am doing wrong and I've youtubed it, so I know I am doing it correctly. If there is some trick I am missing, please fill me in!

i had the same issue but don't remember how I solved it. post screenshot, maybe it'll trigger my memory

It has nothing to do with your weight, the timing's just kinda tight. Enter the warp WHILE jumping up, rather than the end of your jump/at that time you're starting to fall, etc. After that just spam your spin attack and hope you're right in time. It's really easy to miss but it should be doable.

I'll keep trying it's just so frustrating!!! I've been trying multiple times daily since the update came out and I just can't get past this ONE part, which means I can't progress in the game at all. But I guess I'll keep trying :/

not sure if these aides work during challenges (i remember a ranger platform failing during a fairy chest challenge, but it might have just been me screwing something up), but ranger's platform, fart jump trait and triple jump item could all potentially make it easier, so try to pick a character with one of these.

I'm having the same issue. About to give up on the game entirely. This part seems unnecessarily hard when I can breeze through the rest of the challenge.

The very last jump is SUPER tricky, I spent a lot of time either getting hit by the bullet or having it disappear and falling down.

I Used the Icarus Wings to just cheese my way through that part, on like my 5th try in there, was much better that way

I'm with you way2go. I spent hours on it yesterday with no success! The projectile just disappears, preventing me from using it to make the jump. I tried the platform idea, but the platform appeared just a hair too low for me to make the jump, and since you can only make the platform appear one time, I was out of luck after that. I'm ready to just stop playing because I'm so bored and annoyed now.

We had pushed an update to that room to make it easier, but I'll see if I can take another crack at it.

If possible, could you upload a Youtube clip of one of your attempts? Seeing how people are attempting to do the platform challenge really helps me find the trouble spots.

There's a planned hotfix coming up in a few days, so I took the time to try and fandangle in a level change to hopefully make the final puzzle easier.

Also if you get a hero that has slowfall, it should make that challenge a piece of cake...

Lol, no. I recently cleared the game for the first time and I had no unfair trouble. Stop blaming everything else for your shortcomings.

Worst-case scenario, enable House Rules or obtain the Icarus Wings Bargain.

I personally liked the balance in the first game more, don't like that you need to get items like Echo Boots to progress in the game.
I had a bug (a real bug) just when I was about to get the Echo boots...
In the first game you could enter different sections immediately without having to go through a hard part to get an item (echo boots, aetherian wings) that allow you to progress to other sectors.
