In theory, it's just timing that dash to be high enough where you don't hit the spikes and can kick off the next torch. Although chests like this are absolutely not worth the headache. It's starting to head into Kaizo level difficulty with some of these sections.
"In theory" you bounce far too high off the sconces to not hit the spikes without using your air dash to stop the upward momentum. And because my extra dash glyph kept turning off, I stopped trying to use it. Making it impossible due the obvious need of two air dashes.
And you're right. It wasn't worth it. I've gather all the glyphs doing fairy chest from various runs and now just keep getting blood.
Nearly every "don't get hit" that requires you to bounce on sconces require absolutely stupid accuracy. The 'safe' window that you HAVE to use air dash to get through is miniscule. And if you don't do it perfectly every time, you fail.
