Tonga catching me.

I'm currently in act 2 with Tonga chasing me and the second im at the ladder and Abby is climbing at the top of it Tonga is behind he immediately grabs me so im currently softlocked at this point :/

If that happens you are a little bit too slow up until that point :D

Try to jump over the small river gaps and also jump onto the ladder! I am sure you can do it :)

Yea i did that, numerous times rather, jumped over the gaps and even climbed the small stone barrier

We now heard that from a different person as well. Will definitely look into that... maybe it's a framerate dependent thing?

Thanks, i was recording a video for a youtuber friend of mines and i was recording the entire game in one go, looks like ill have to redo the entire video lol.

Oh, I am very sorry about that :(
One thing you can try - maybe lower your graphics settings, just to see if you can manage to run away at a higher framerate? If that works, I would be really happy if you could let us know.

He might frown on that and i tried that, might need to either decrease Tonga's speed, Increase The Protagnist's Jump Height or Speed or probably put the trigger where he shows in a different spot, or even lower the stone barrier height as the Protagonist climbs it.

He's catching up right on top of the ladder for me as well. Don't know why tried to replicate strats from other youtubers but for some reason their Tondo moves much slower…

Hey!
I just uploaded patch 1.16 which fixes an issue while climbing (Abby was slowed down when the controller was not 100 percent left or up - same with keyboard, when both keys were pressed).
I hope that this fixes the issue on your end!

I can confirm this hotfix fixed it, just beat the game brilliant game you guys have made! Especially the little song during the cage scene, wish all bandits sang that tune!
