Intro to Symphonies?

Hello, I was wondering whether there's an introduction to symphonies anywhere? I'm not looking for a how-to-play/guide, just a very basic overview of what they are. I couldn't find an introduction on the starting symphony screen, or when I clicked one of them. I tried entering one of the first two to unlock and got through the opening cinematic; but still no introduction.

Like where's Aldo; I thought he's the main character of this game? And is it just me, or do some of the characters on the symphony title screen look a lot like characters from other RPGs (haven't played them myself, but I've seen youtube videos).

Symphonies are collabs. Aldo is still the main hero. COmplete the symphony to get the collab unit and other misc. collab item(s) like weaps or grasta.

You mean, the main character of a symphony becomes a playable party member after completing the symphony? And what's a grasta?

Meaning most of the characters you meet in a Symphony will become yours for free except maybe 1 or 2 NPCs. Grasta is a stat boosting feature you unlock in the main story.
