Been playing on mobile for 2 months and still am and while I was going for the PC, I heard it doesn't have JP VA so I put it on hold for now but back to the topic.

Before I start, I'll just say this: MAKE SURE to get your Transfer ID and user ID so that if you lose your account or reinstall the game, you can restore your account

I decided to add some definitions and abreviations you might encounter in Another Eden's community (Discord/Reddit/Wiki): Pay Extra Attention to the IMPORTANT notices

* AE: Another Eden

* RNG: Random Number Generator

* CS: Chronos Stones (Many refer to them as just "stones") ==> "The gacha currency of the game, you can try and get characters for your roster using these, you can also buy Green/Red keys (NOT RECOMMENDED) and you can use them to revive your party (NOT RECOMMENDED)"

* Rolling ("Encounters in the game") ==> "Rolling is basically spending your CS to get characters, there are 3★ 4★ 5★NS 5★AS 5★ES and obviously 5★ are really rare to get (usually 0.01% but it depends on the banner, some characters 5★ have "rate up" which means the chance of getting them are higher), you can roll for one encounter for 100 stones or you can roll for 10 encounters with a guarenteed 4★ or higher for 1k stones

* Dupe: Duplicates ==> "Dupes are when you get a character in a roll but you already have it in your roster, of course, the dupe is automatically converted to Light//Shadow for the character

* Light/Shadow (They are called "Guiding Light/Luring Shadow" in the game) ==> These are stats that upgrade your characters attributes, unlock skill/badge slot and even unlock reward slots in ADs, they can be farmed on specific map per specific character [For more info check the Wiki]

* AD: Another Dungeon ==> "A door in the Spacetime Rift that opens very early game which allows you to revisit a dungeon you already went to in the main story/side stories/episodic stories/tales/collaboration stories etc.. in Hard/Very Hard mode to grind for materials and ressources".

* H/VH: Hard/Very Hard (Mostly used to designate H-AD/VH-AD which means Hard/Very Hard Another Dungeons) ==> "H-AD uses Green Keys and VH-AD uses Red Keys)

IMPORTANT : I DON'T RECOMMEND using stones to get Keys as you can get them:
1) Over time: 4 Green and Red Keys per day
2) Watch your daily ads for a chance to get those keys, you get 5 ads per day (ONLY ON MOBILE !!)
3) If you complete part 1 of the main story after Chapter 25 and unlock Nopaew Emporium you can get buy Green/Red Keys for 5 Tsubura's Gems which you get 10 per 1 VH-AD run, JUST BEWARE that the weekly maximum for those gems are 120

* NS: Normal Style ==> "It's the original style and abilities of the character".

* AS: Another Style ==> "It's an alternative style to the character (an AS is always 5★) with an ability board (with different 5★ abilities) which is different then NS, oftenly AS is much more powerful then their NS counterpart (And harder to get and grind for) but that DOESN'T MEAN you neglect a character without an AS, there are many characters without an AS but really OP.

* ES: Extra Style ==> "It's a whole different Style than even AS (Different weapons/elements) but currently only available in the Japanese Release"

* Zones: (Called Stances in the game) ==> "These are spells with various effects that affect the entire battlefield, like a Yu-Gi-Oh Field Magic Card or Pokemon Weather system, only certain characters have this ability and they are called Zone Setters, these will be pretty helpful and in mid/late game it will become almost impossible to play without them because they can affect even AF and do massive damages to win against super bosses (Yes the game has these)".

* AF: Another Force ==> "An ability unlocked in early game which stops time and allow you to spam skills with no MP cost regardless of ability, it depletes rapidly so if you used AF when at full gauge and when it finishes, a special attack is applied that depends on your characters personality (Example: The Phantom Thieves of Hearts Personality gives an Persona 5 All out Attack Animation scene)"

IMPORTANT: Normally the AF gauge regenerates per hit and even using AF, if you have a high DPS character you can prolong the usage, however by using zones, the AF gauge will regenerate PER MOVE and using a move with the same attribute as the zone will allow for a higher regeneration rate while in AF, this is one of the main reasons why you get to see people achieving millions of damage in AF

* (A/P/F)GAD: (Antiquity/Present/Futur) Garulea Another Dungeon ==> "A deep late game another dungeon and speaking about it would be spoilers so I'll avoid talking about it but to give you a sense of familiarity, it's much much harder than even VH-AD but the rewards are very good.

* PCD: Phantom Crystal Dimension ==> "You can go inside this monsterless dungeon by getting a White Key which you have 10% of getting per H-AD/VH-AD, it's a dungeon of luck as there are 6 rooms where you get rewards in 3 chests and depending on your choice, you can go to the next room for a better reward or you go to the Cape which is a consolation room with low value awards and you quit the dungeon.

* Grasta: ==> "Items you get from deep mid game that allow you to further upgrade your character with new effects, it has it's own leveling (Tier) and grinding system but you will definitely consider them once you unlock them at chapter 48."

* VC: Valor Chant ==> "An ability that every character has, it's activated when you switch said character from the reserve in the main party, A party has 4 main units and two in reserves so you need to stratigize and figure out how a certain character's VC goes with the party, as VC can buff/debuff or even do damage, once summoned a character starts with a level 1 VC and there are 3 levels of VC that can be reached upon completed said character's side quests and there's Grasta VC which further upgrades it.

IMPORTANT: It's really important to max out all your characters VCs as you also get stones if you do the quests and believe me, AE has one of the best character's story so it's totally worth it to do them, of course, those quests requires a certain character level and main story completion so if you want to complete them, you have to level up your character and reach the required main story chapter

Some characters quests are locked behind an Episodic/Side story so you also have to complete them aswell

* Manifest: (Manifestation Weapons) ==> "These are special weapons that are available to be obtained when you finish Main story chapter 25, these weapons offer significant boost to your NS/AS abilities, for instance you might have a weak 5★ character but with his manifest, he becomes really strong.

If you want to check if your characters have a manifest, there's a place in the upper most north part of the Spacetime rift and when you talk to the man, you can see which of your party members has a manifest...or use the wiki AT YOU OWN RISK!,

When your find your manifest, you will have to fight it, basically a stronger copy of yourself with that weapon, usually, that fight is a bit easier should you prepare for it...it's the second fight that is a nightmare (Superboss level).

When you defeat your manifest, you get the weapon with base stats and no special abilities, you need to level it up, you ought to have it equipped with his specific character and increase it's strength up to the max (Level 10) which requires a bit of time (Your best friend is The Transitory Space Time VH-AD), once you finally level up your weapon, you will need to fight the manifest a second time to unlock the full abilities of the manifest, of course, that fight is really really hard and you might need to have a full strategy and a good party because one mistake might K.O all units.

IMPORTANT: REMEMBER, if you die in a fight, NEVER use 50 stones to revive yourself, you can force exit the game and redo the fight, your stones are really valuable so you shouldn't waste them like that

This FAQ is an update to an already outdated existing one, made by AE veteran u/xPalox, any questions you have you will mostly find it answered here, of course, if you can't find an answer, all you have to do is just ask in the AE reddit "Help and Questions Thread", as I said, the AE community are some of the best and you'll recieve your answer quickly.

In all this is a great game that I highly recommend, it will take time because of the sheer content but I hope you all enjoy.

@Therealkiller[HalaMadrid<3] But do allow me to disagree with you on one thing ^_^ "Japanese characters voices", even though I love to play the game in its original voice build, I don't mind how it has been moved to Steam (with English voices only) because the game (as you mentioned next) has lots and lots of stuff to do as also lots of free stuff too (I never expected to see such a free game). Thus it deserves the devs the purchases we do some times in-game to support them, maybe in their future plans they may introduce the Japanese voices too.

p.s. I have been to Japan 15 years ago for a 2 week holidays and believe me, Japan "stole my heart" :) from it is warm-heart people to welcoming you and show you around, their polite behaviour, sightseeings, food, cleanliness and proud on their achievements (which is a good thing). It gives me tremendous joy that people are enjoying so much Anaden, and really, don't take it that you want to achieve everything at once, especially because the history itself make you enjoy the achievements you are achieving much more that you can think. For example, it took me four months to get Saki Another Style, more than a year has passed since that, and today it continues to be an achievement that I remember a lot, and above all, she continues to be one of my main characters for practically everything that I am progressing, regardless of whether I am getting new characters. Enjoy Anaden at your own and do not let yourself be carried away by anxiety.

I would recommend staying away from the Reddit and the Roadmap until you have leveled up a party or at least you are really deep in the story.

Plenty of spoilers in the front page tend to swarm it and talk about extra bosses.

The wiki is great, although also on the side will tell you what the game has, thus showing the depth you most likely haven't reached yet into the game xD

Also I have had a couple of mistakes noticed on the guides, such as Guildna's 5* last boss having a non-type fire icon on an attack of the boss, when it is a slash+fire one, which using Zones needs to be taken into account

I'm always towards F2P but I don't mind supporting the devs if the game is really good, I also played my fair share of gacha game including FGO but never bought any paid gacha currency...until Another Eden that is and your message is wholesome, thanks man and to everyone

There's not a need to rush, when ever you and/or anyone has the time to make a guide (already there are some guides but it seems that the AE needs more ^_^) take your time.

What I noticed by other fellow steamers who are further in game than I ^_^; there are so my things in AE that guides are "most welcome", always is good to have something in "one place" isn't it fellow steamers?!?! ;-)

The reason is because there are some unreleased manifest of some characters (Release in the JP version, not yet in Global) so you can easily spoil yourself, hence the At your own risk ;)

An example is Philo, without her manifest, she's low tier, akin to Saki AS, however, if you get her manifest, she gets an extremely powerful boost and jumps to S+ tier, problem is, her manifest is not released in the global version
