Is there a non paid way to get a 5 star healer?
I paid 3 times for 3 10 rolls and don't want to pay anymore into the game since I limited myself to 100$ but only have a 4 star healer.

You can pick a free 4 star from the tutorial and you can reroll for a 5 star healer each time.

You can always upgrade the trap.

I personally rerolled a couple times and got AS Ewan, AS Ilulu an Yipha so I rolled with that.

Also the curren event gives you a free 5 star if you login for 10 days.

Cool! I got the 4 year japanese celebration thing 5 days in a row now, I assume I'm not too late? I am new to the game with the steam launch, so could I trouble you to ask you the name of the 5 star hero healer I should be picking?

You don't get to pick anything, it's a random 5 star. And what the previous quote reply forgot to mention was that you need to do the daily free draw to make it count.

But I do recommend you play the Persona 5 and Tales collabs if you want healers.

Yuri and Morgana from the Tales and Persona crossovers are free healers.

You also might want to look and see if any of the 4* characters you got have an empty fifth star on their character page. That means they have a 5* form that you can grind out, if you're willing to put the time there. It'll take a while. Maybe one of them heals if you managed to get Mariel, Yuna or anyone on the wiki's healer page.

When starting, the recommended option due to that is Bivette, which can be upgraded like main and episode characters to 5* even if they don't show the last star with a "secret" quest after beating the "main" story.

She has regen but works fine until the mentioned Yuri and Morgana. And Bivette's 5* is great too as she gets Regen XL 3 turns.

In JP, you also get Feinne's with the recent update and from the look at the skillset seems absolutely amazing. I don't know how long until we get that one though.

Morgana doubles as a DPS and Healer, and is free

Iirc, Yuna AS is considered pretty high tier, and standard 5* Yuna isn't too shabby herself. It'll take some grinding to get the materials to promote her to 5* and/or AS, but she should be a pretty good character.

Yes but she'll need some love to become truly strong. Her kit lets her allow party members do more damage while mitigating and recovering from damage. The problem is is that she actually has a regen, not a heal ability. Can't take you back from red to green in one turn. You can upgrade her so that she will have an actual heal with her Manifest Weapon, but she'd need to be 5* to unlock and fight the weapon. Yes, fight.

Thank you for all the tipps. I might give her a try. Im playing without a healer for now and had no difficulties so far (chapter 31). But i heard there are otherlands dungeons, where you need a healer to make it through, because they are very long...

Play the Persona 5 event to make the fabricated armors, those give you life regen for the long dungeons.

The equipment from those otherlands dungeons are fairly outdated and not worth the many repetitions involved in upgrading them. If you're around chapter 31 and in the middle of Ogre Wars, the Cruel Angel set of weapons is very easy to get, and there are some armor pieces in the Mythos chapter 3 that are easy to make if you can burst down the golems in the caves.

I don't actually run healers frequently during Dungeon runs but there are some fast mobs later on and the hits from them can add up.
