Steam or Mobile ?
Is there a difference if I play the game on Pc or Mobile? ( Updates, content or so)
and can I switch at any time from pc to mobile and vice versa or do I have to choose

The last question would be can I play it on Pc with controller and are the controls good ?

Steam: No ads, no Japanese voices, crossovers are silent in voice acting, doesn't take your phone space/battery. Can interact with most things onscreen with F key from quite a large distance.

Mobile: Ads to get extra chrono stones and some green/red keys. Japanese voiceovers which will fill crossover characters and events automatically even when setting English. Takes quite a bit of storage.

You can change devices with a password. Each time you got to do it though.

No controller support, ASDW (arrow keys too), F, 1234. As well as mouse. Mind that in PC, minigame sections aren't adapted with the keyboard controls so you will need to use mouse ones on those!

History: I started mobile, on its Global release in early 2019. Kept going, slowed down, felt like I forgot the story so I restarted in late 2019 and then kept going, with good pulls and a little bit of money spent, encouraging me to leave my first account behind. Even during breaks, I tended to do daily logins (now with added ads w/stones). I went into this Steam release trying to recap the story for myself with an alt account. Its clearly a half done job, but I kept going and going. I'd stream my story progress on social media for fun.

Now: I took a break from that. I got a new computer recently, and I messed up the account transfer, but uninstalled AE from the old computer before properly linking the save file anywhere, so I believe I lost it! I instead transferred my (2nd created, main) mobile account. So now I'm going whatever, I transferred back to mobile, uninstalled AE, and won't be bothering.

IF there were the daily chronos of mobile, I might have reconsidered. But only might, since the port is generally shoddy and weak, besides convenience of the keyboard+Fkey for travelling. Its not like they even upped the resolution of their graphics.

I'd only recommend Steam AE to those who are interested in the game already, outright can't/won't do any mobile gaming, and is there just for story and without care for progression. That's a niche within niches. Too bad.
