It does play similar to Fire Pro Wrestling. It is timing based. You have to be the first to press the appropriate level move button when the wrestler's foot hits the ground.

Very much so. In my opinion its less frustrating and more fun than fire pro though. I never liked how you need to line up to strike someone in fpw.

Yes, but there's no breathe and 3D step, and the finishers are more special because you can only do them when your meter is full. The movement is a lot faster than FP, but other than that the mechanics should be easy to pick up if you've played Fire Pro.

I would say Firepro meets Wrestlefest. Retromania definitely feels more like an arcade game.

It does. And i like that. Ive never liked stamina meters and such in wrestling games. Let me run the ropes like a lunatic until someone gets in my path so i can clock them! Its a game afterall.
