The developer set out to create an Arcade Wrestling Game and that's exactly what he did.

This game has everything you would want in an Arcade Wrestling Game. Along with that it has little to no bugs or glitches which is very rare in a game release. The most important thing is the "fun factor" and this game has that in spades. I got the piss kicked out of me when I first played the game but after I went back and learned how to actually play the game I ended that quick, fast, and in a hurry.

One thing gamers might question at first look is the "roster." To those that question the roster I would have them go back and look at one of the best wrestling games in history, Saturday Night Slam Masters. How many real wrestlers are in that game? Zero! I would also point them to Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Tekken. How many real life characters are in those fighting games? After taking a look at that they should realize that you don't need a great roster of real wrestlers to have a good "Arcade Wrestling Game."

There are real wrestlers in Retromania Wrestling like the Road Warriors who a lot of people consider the best tag team in wrestling history. Now the question is how do the Road Warriors fit in a game like this where there are some indy wrestlers? That question is answered in the Story mode of the game. You're going to have to play the game to find that out. Honestly I like the wrestlers in the game but I would still like the game as much if it had fictional wrestlers instead of real wrestlers.

Next lets talk about the lack of a CAW feature. Ok, how many "Arcade Wresting Games" in history have a CAW mode? I can think of one that currently has one, WWE 2k Battlegrounds and that caw mode is one of the worse I have ever seen in a wrestling game. That game did NOT need a CAW mode and this game does not need that mode either. Honestly only 25% of people that play this game would even know how to create CAWS if there was a CAW mode. The other 75% would beg for a workshop so they could just download the work of others. This happens in the FPW community and would happen here as well. I should point out that I was one of the first ones saying this game needs a CAW mode but after playing the game I realized it didn't need caws.

I purchased this game so that I could add another wrestling game to my collection and what I discovered after playing this game is that I now own not just another wrestling game but what I would consider to be the BEST Arcade Wrestling Game of all time!
