Create a Wrestler option must have ...

For the last 20 years wrestling games (Wrestlemania 2000) have all pretty much had some kind of "create a wrestler" mode. This option can determine whether a user buys or doesn't buy a wrestling game. I'm assuming that the developers realize this and are either directly putting a CAW option in or will add one later.

With that assumption I will give my "expert" (i have been creating, modding, texture editing wrestlers in wrestling/fighting games since the options were made available in the 1990's) opinion on what a CAW option "must have."

Features:

- Custom Entrance Music
- Custom Logos (with this option you can make any wrestler you can dream of)
- Custom Title Belts
- A wide variety of moves to use in creating the wrestlers. (users will always want more.. haha)
- A wide variety of entrance animations to use in creating the wrestlers

*** If you don't have these what I would could "must have" options in a CAW feature you will be flooded with requests/demands to add them. ***

I'm keeping this game on my wish list for now but for me a CAW is essential as I'm not really a fan of Wrestling now days but would like to take my own character and play rather than a pre-built Wrestler.

Is there or will there be a story mode or Endless campaign like the old Smackdown 2 game on the PSOne? Where you choose your title and you play as long as you like defending or working your way up to gain the title?

We hope to add a lot more features to the game to keep in relevant. Not only for all of you but selfishly for me. This is the game I always wanted to make and it is awesome having people to share it with. My goal is to make it the best 2d arcade wrestling game ever.

Different expectations for diferent types of games.
You didn't expect Wrestlefest or WWF Wrestelmania the arcade game to have a CAW mode, they're just completely different types of games.
Would be nice with some more replayable single player modes for this game I will admit, but I'm, not gonna get mad and demanding about it.

I agree that this game would benefit from more in single player modes. That's probably the main thing I would wanna see, aside from a bigger roster.

We have a couple of ideas for additional modes that I have already flushed out. Our priority first will to clean up a few minor bugs that have been found and then the menu suggestions I think will be next. But don't hold me to that order yet. We are only a week into launch. I am still gathering feedback and then will prioritize everything.

well. you are off to a solid start. i can say personally it is the best wrestling game all around available to me on steam or anywhere else. great job, great launch. keep it up.

I know it's 2021, but in this game a CAW-mode would feel wrong...

If possible as a match-type; a Scaffold Match would be awesome (you'd need the Midnight Express also, but hey! ;-) )

I would love to see scaffold matches get in. And I don't often support scaffold matches in any context lol. That would be a blast.
