Ok, this puts you guys in a tough spot. You don't have a big roster of wrestlers that can draw people in and no CAW option to allow users to make their own wrestlers. So basically people have to like the wrestlers that are in the game and/or be a big fan of classic wrestling games like WWF Wrestlefest. Interesting but I will buy it no matter what like I said before as I buy pretty much every wrestling game created.
I just hope that you get around to adding the CAW feature somewhere down the line even if it's released as a dlc.
Excelsior!
Based on my last year of interaction I think there is a pretty big audience for this alone. But don't get me wrong I would love to add more names and a CAW mode at some point.
Honestly, if this game plays well, I won't even necessarily be asking for a CAW mode. I've got Fire Pro, I'll live... lol
Even with Fire Pro's bigger budget and franchise recognition, the early access version on Steam wasn't backed by an actual Wrestling promotion. Instead, players had to create their favorite Wrestlers themselves using the numerous edit pieces in Fire Pro's Create-A-Wrestler mode.
Within days, the Fire Pro workshop was filling up with many recognizable faces from every era of Wrestling and beyond.
In the long run, giving players the tools to create their favorite Wrestlers will surely cut back on posts asking for __insert Wrestler____ and save plenty of $$$ on licensing fees. Allowing Retrosoft the ability to focus their budget on other exciting features.
P.S., it's nice to see a lot of my Fire Pro peers in this thread.

So Super Mario has an edit mode, but this won't? Yikes.
;p
Now that the game has been released I guess you see what I meant about having a CAW mode. Some people just won't buy the game unless they can create their own wrestlers. You will hear a lot of whining about this.
"IF" you do decide to add a CAW feature to the game the easiest way to do it without making a big CAW mode in game feature is by allowing the editors access to the in game wrestler sprites (and moves) for editing and renaming the wrestler. I'm sure modders will find a way to do that soon anyway if they haven't already.
Basically just allow everyone access to the game files and allow extra space in the game for adding new wrestlers.
Most people will shut up and stop whining when they see how much work it is to edit all of those wrestler sprites. Well.. then they will cry about having a workshop where they can download the edits of others.
A headache but will lead to more sales.
Thanks for making/releasing the game.
EXCELSIOR!
That being said, this game is providing something completely different for me. The Easter Eggs. The detailed stages. The fact that every wrestler has like 5-6 unique signature moves in addition to their finisher. The commentary. The 10 pounds of gold mode. This game is more to me like an arcade fighting game than a wrestling sandbox sim. Nobody asks for a create a fighter in fighting games. I’d way rather you continue to acquire new roster members and make them unique and detailed the way you have been. This is what will keep me coming back for more - not a creation suite that will never be able to give me that fix the way fire pro does.
As a parallel, I would rather Need for Speed continue to focus on addictive arcade fun as opposed to trying to make it like Gran Turismo.
