Prisim3d error

I bought the game 2day and i can't even launch the game i can get to the main menu but when i'm in the loading screen it say's there's been a error with Prisim3d or some ♥♥♥♥ like dat, i use windows 8.1 and i know this game is old so i'm wondering if i can even run the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game on windows 8.1 or find out a way of how to fix the Prisim3d error, any1 reading this if you have a way of how to fix this error or know weither i can run the game on windows 8.1 or not if you do it would be much appreciated thank you.
