Random Crashes

So got the game in the sale, a little bit of nostalgia reasons more than anything else. Running windows 7 with up to date drivers and its constantly freezing. Random when it happens and seems to be no pattern to it. Appears to be with the 3d thing that powers the game so did all the compatability stuff recommended on youtube but with no change to performance.

Love this game in general and would love if someone would be able to offer a fix.

Theres a patch but it's a beta and the only offical patch made for this game patch 1.01 beta I don't think im allowed to post a link but you can download the patch via scssoft site, and the 3d think your reffering to Prism 3d engine , one make sure crossfire or SLI is off Prism 3d is an old engine , can your pc run other opengl games, the game can run with windows 7 but newer hardwhare might have trouble running the game at best a pc that can run windows xp will have little trouble....
