Since you ask! There are presently 15 'easter egg' gladiators, and you have correctly identified 2. They are player-team only gens with very great power and usually low greed (thus more affordable, but sometimes still out of reach). If you spot one they are usually a must-hire if you can.
Most are famous gladiators from history, but a couple are early supporters or play-testers of the project.
I just found another one: Carpophorus. But he is a veteran... WAY to expensive for my lowly D3 team to purchase
Sparticus: A criminal with a 20 win sentence. He is a young (21?) 4 gold star Leader, who starts off with very minimal ability. Despite Low Work Ethic and Average Intelligence he grows pretty quickly until he gets a couple gold stars. Being a criminal, any team can make use of him.
Crixus: A criminal with a 20 win sentence. He starts off as a fully developed 5.0 (maybe 4.5) gold star. Powerful Barbarian that you can afford at any point in the game, but he is old (39?) and drops skills quickly so you can't hang onto him forever. Being a criminal, any team can make use of him.
Carpophorus: 31 year old Veteran Defender. Starts off with 4.5 gold stars (uncertain of max) and has a High Work Ethic. He has Incredible discipline, but Weak skill. With Excellent Agility he might actually be better at dodging than using his shield. Being a veteran his price is prohibitive for lower level teams.
Spiculus: A young (18?) Citizen Gladiator. Low Intelligence and Average Work Ethic, but starts off halfway towards his 5 gold star potential.
Rowdy Redneck: First two name guy on the list, so maybe we have missed others. 5 gold star potential, no other details known.
He was a citizen gladiator who generated very young, I think 18 years old. I think he started with a CA of 5 silver stars but his PA was 5 gold stars. Low intelligence / average work ethic.
Personally I picked him up in D3 and he racked up to 72 wins as he lead me to my first D1 title, before I made the difficult decision to retire him due to cumulative injuries.
wait..... so "arry po'er" that i saw on the enemy team in ancient britain naming set up wasnt a special named easter egg for harry potter and how people with english accents would pronounce the name? lol
Haha no - Harry Potter would be a totally random one! Bit odd that it would be in Ancient Britain, but I like it! :)
