Hi everybody. As a solo dev with limited (but fantastic) playtesters I'm bound to have left a few bugs in the game! I really appreciate the help reporting them - put them in this thread and I'll try to take a look ASAP.

Please try to include as much detail as possible about what you were doing when the bug cropped up. I might have to ask for your save file which you can find at this location: C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\LocalLow\Eternity Games\GladiatorManager . It will be callled "dynamic_new"; "dynamic2" etc. depending on which row the save is in. Once I've fixed the bug I will also usually be able to fix your save as well and send it back to you so you can carry on with the campaign, as a thank you for the report.

If anyone has been playing a pre-release version then your saves won't work any more due to a last minute database fix. Feel free to email me your save as per instructions above (PM me for email address) and I will fix your save - it will only take me one minute.

Hi Pascal. Sorry about that. I'm just discovering that for some people the game won't begin. It looks like it might be a conflict with a virus checker. Do you have Norton or anything else, and did you get any message about "no valid digital signature"?

I don't have any antivirus ( sorry my english is not the best :) ) no i don't have any message after second i can click on quit or new campain.... new campain don't work but quit yes

Hi. I'm getting stuck on the loading screen. I get the little graphics options menu then it goes to what i guess is the loading screen (same pic as the store page) and it just freezes. Not running an anti virus

First I couldn't start a new game. Then I reinstalled the game which solved that issue. But I keep having problems with the Barracks. First it did nothing when I clicked on the "Barracks" button. Reinstalled the game again and THAT problem was solved, BUT it wont let me see or buy any new gladiators and that issue hasn't been solved with reinstalling the game again and again. So that's where I am.. :0/

There is no button for me to get pat the make your first gladiator screen????

Hi Siberia. This was the release bug. Very sorry about it. It should be completely fixed now. You might need to restart steam or verify the cache to get the latest upload, then it should work fine. Let me know if you have any more trouble.

Hi Angra, I'm very sorry about these troubles. Unfortunately it looks like when you bought the game it download the pre-patch version because those are the exact two bugs that the game released with. Then it seems steam uploaded the next but one patch for you. The latest version 100% should not have those bugs. I suggest completely restarting steam and verifying the game cache.

The 'barracks bug' only happens in week 1, so worst case if you just play the week 1 battle the game will then work absolutely fine, and hopefully any new saves will be blessed with the patch!

Just to check the position I've freshly formatted all my saves and reinstalled the game - this reproduced both of the above bugs when I did it before but now it's all working perfectly so one more uninstall / reinstall really should see it off.

Hi Joe, thanks for getting the game!

You have me stumped here. At the very bottom of the Character Creation screen it says "Proceed". Can you see that? Click there and you should move along. Let me know if you have any more difficulties with it!

I don't plan on making a habit out of notifying everyone of my hours, but I'm going to bed now since it's late in the UK and it's been an exhausting, but awesome, day. For anyone encountering a bug in the next 8-10 hours and reporting it here, i promise I'm not ignoring you, just recovering! I'll get back on any bugs tomorrow. Thanks for the quick reporting on here, and I hope you all enjoy the game! :)

I believe this is a bug:
Quite simply if you "save and quit" mid-battle; when you come back to play again all armor for all fighters resets to fully intact. Had the enemy down to nearly nothing on left leg and right arm and my gladiator had 0 on torso from an unlucky charge in the beginning of the battle.. Was going to be a dicey battle - but after reset my champion easily dominated.

Regarding the "Random fighters in each fixture" feature:
1). Shouldn't that be available at the setup of a run and not just after you start (otherwise you are locked into 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 for first 4 weeks)
2). Bug - perhaps it was just bad luck but in battles numbered 5-8 the pattern of 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 continued in my play through - despite having the radio button checked
