First time help with modding

Hello, I know there are other discussions related to the HF patch for this game, but I am still a little unclear about it. I just want to uncensor the game and when going to the micro mod link posted (taking out the x's), it doesn't go to mega.nz website, it directs to some home improvement website of sorts. Also, I was reading mixed reviews on the ManlyMarco hf patch and that it may not work for Steam version. Can anybody experienced with modding this version of the game without having any errors occur help me out? I have never torrented anything either, so if that is required, some clear cut instructions would also be very much appreciated.

The File is large 30.01GB

It helped me a lot. You needn't to pay just you need to wait long Time to get Part by Part.
And after to unpack it you need BreeZip. Then you get the ZIP file and this you unpack again and after all this you put it in the Original Folder of AI ShouJo.

Thanks for this, I will download it in parts. I saw that the biggest file, the studio portion says optional. What does that do? Is it necessary for me to uncensor the game? I would assume not.

Sorry I'm new to all of this. Do I unzip each of the pieces and put them where? In the AI shoujo folder under the steam common apps?

You need to open the first File 001 with BreeZip then it needs a bit Time to open it. There inside is the ZIP this one you unpack, after you have the ZIP you unpack it again and then this Files you put into the AI Original Folder from Steam.

So I successfully downloaded both zip files, unpacked 001 and placed those in the original game folder. However, the 002 file (the one that is about 2.7 GB) couldn't be unzipped. When it downloaded, it wasn't as a zip file like the first, so I couldn't unpack that one. Is there a trick to that? Also, the translation on the game now is way off, is that normal, or is that part of the 002 file?

You must have both Files in the same Folder

then you open the 001 with the BreeZip another one can't read the File inside.
After you did this you get an ZIP called [ScrewThisNoise] AI-Shoujo RS1 (6.15GB) this one you can unzip with the Windows one.

Then you have this Folder called [ScrewThisNoise] AI-Shoujo RS1 MEGA.7z
there are 25 Elements (14GB) inside this you put into the Original AI Folder.

On my one everything works fine still with English and I had to agree the Initial Settings Exe.

I think I did it, had to run 002 first to extract. I am guessing I need to disable auto updates on here and run game from the .exe, correct?

I start the Game from Steam normally and I did nothing to forbid auto Updates but maybe better is it. I don't know, if you have 14GB all is right, if you don't have 14GB (unpacked File) you missing Parts.

Mine says 3’302 Files, 546 Folders

Mine says 25gb right now, that may be with the save data and all of that as well. Translation was a little better, but loading screen is still all in Japanese and some of the translations on the character interactions are a little off, not the exact same as the straight steam version. I am guessing that is normal though, correct?

Hm when the Translator Software works slow yes it need a bit Time to translate.
I talked about your unziped Folder must be around 14GB how much the Steam Folder has I don't know because I use a lots of Mods ^.~ I am around 65GB.

Maybe I understand your Language trouble maybe you need to set once in Japanese and then again set to English to reload.

That helped me now because I tried your way to figure out what is the Problem.

I know I must have extracted it all correctly because after doing it with Breezip like you had suggested, it did combine both files into a larger zip file to which I extracted. I just noticed that when playing the game, it was as if it was changed to the base Japanese version and that the translations when interacting with the AI's was off. Some of the choices didn't even have complete sentences; they would show a few words and then there was nothing after. The "praise" option was changed to "Hold" for whatever reason and some of the more intimate scenes, the mod was phasing through the AI.

I understand, I did the same Way like you and I had this Trouble and it helped me to change the Language to Japanese and back to English then everything was complete again in English.

Do you have to switch the language in game, or on your cpu itself? Did that also fix the phasing issues?
