Since I got AI Shoujo I have not used HS2 since.
The main difference would be the environment.
HS2 your in a hotel of sorts and basically go room to room meeting the people you select on your lists.. there is a random NPC generator. but no interactions or movement around said environment like AIS. you and the NPC do not walk around.. you go from room to room and position to position.. thats it.
On AIS you and the NPC walk around, eat, forage etc.. So its more interactive with regards to the environment and use of that environment.
So if your goal is direct contact and action.. HS2 is good.
If your more into the farming, fishing, building and environment use with the option of action.. then AIS all the way..
