How do I fix the generator in the park...near the fountain?

you should go to the check point first and then you can have a new check point to fix the generator. (collect some items to fix it.)

For anyone stuck on this: girl needs to level up (i think its to 800) then you need to repair generator (examine and it will show you the items required).
