Second thoughts about buying

Hey just a friendly question. Is this game gonna be on sale anytime soon or do they dont give discounts? 60 bucks seem a little high even tho it looks very interesting and I usually love Illusion games..

As I already bought Koikatsu party even tho I love it the prive of 55 bucks was kinda hard too. Im pretty sure somehow Steam or Illusion mixed up the yen to steam currency if you ask me.

Anyway Im sure the game is fun but I dont wanna regret buying it now when its on sale a few days later.

Hm well 15 bucks isnt really making a difference in my book and since I really do love their other games I think Imma just go buy it full price.

I bought this game cause I took the risk while ago, even at 20% off. My verdict, the content it offers is not worth the price even at 20% off. From what I can tell (someone correct my if im wrong) is they sold the game on a NSFW site, but put a worse version on steam for a PREMIUM price just for a cash grab and no longer support the game. Since they have nothing too loose on steam.

Now add in, they only just updated the game to give you less variety when creating girl characters. No bugfixes, no extra content, not optimisation. Merly to reduce your options.

What is everyone talking about that makes the steam version so bad? I see people say it's censored. What's censored about this game? There's other sex games on Steam, why would this one be censored?

If you are looking for a rational reason, there isn't a good reason. The breast slider doesn't allow you to make smaller breasts anymore. You know, cause grown adults have to be fat and have bigger breasts otherwise you are not a real woman cause logic.

I mean I personally don't care. At least, right now. However, if it has seeped into something I don't care about, it's going to affect other things.

I've never asked for a steam refund before.
Bought game, hit install.
Download recommended torrent app.
Download the mod.
Wait for steam to finish game install. Says 8 seconds to go. Wait some more. Says 1 hour to go. Says 3 hours to go. Dang it! Shut down steam and restart it. Finishes install
Find instruction HTML. Read it. (This button does that, that button does this...)
Try character creator. Make character. Yep, censored. Fine.

Start game. Select girl I just made. Get default character. Fine.
She wakes up the Player Character and with an annoyingly soft voice, says go get food.
I don't see any food here lady... I'm too stupid to work controls. Run around looking for food. What does food look like? baka gaijin here. Should look like a burger, amirite?
Game crashed. The pale window of window death.
Torrent done. Leave game, start mod.
Norton eats it. Really, just up and quarantines it because of some "sonic" virus. (yeah, could happen with a torrent, just about anyone could have messed with it).
Tell Norton I'm feeling brave today, run it anyway. Hangs on some png file. I suspect that the mod was tampered with.
Give up. ask for refund.

You are right, I was installing the mod after a game crash and it could have left that png file locked. OTOH, did I mention that the game crashed after 25 minutes of play? Maybe my computer doesn't have the specs to play the game or maybe I got a bad download from steam. Whatever, I would still like a refund because I think the game is going to crash a lot.
Hope you guys have fun. I'm going to look for a new game to buy.

I feel like you should wait until Honey Select 2 releases on Steam. I heard that the visual style is very similar to this game, but the quality/animations are way better than AI. Unless you care more about the story mode stuff, then I dunno since I never messed with Story mode in any of these games. xD

Ya, if you're buying this for the island game part then totally not worth it. It's fun at first, but you grind for hours to find materials to build a fantastic house and the girls would rather stand outside in the rain. You stock the kitchen with good food and they just keep eating the dark matter. And there's no real story. It would be cool if there was some real AI learning or something instead of having the same discussion with every girl.

The value in the game comes from the Studio part, once you have all the extra Studio mods content installed. It's not quite as good looking as Daz3d, but Studio is easy to use, renders in real time and you don't have to buy/build every single thing.
