Both are basically mod packs, so they include mods, plugins and such. The official patch is just that: a little patch to bring the cut content back. So no mods, plugins, ... game is still censored (mosaic).
No idea about the repack, but in the HF Patch Patreon you can pay $5 to get direct download links.
btw, the torrents (at least the HF Patch one) is not illegal, since it's provided by the HF Patch author himself. It doesn't include the game, so nothing bad will happen. :-)
There is also a steam version. It's called SR5.
I would play the game more like an adult Sims with survival elements. Am I right?
Additionally the character editor will keep me busy for hours (I spent hours alone in the editor of BD). The modpacks would only be a nice bonus.
Does anyone have experience with the survival part?
