Mouth Won't Move?

I have one character whose mouth will not move when they talk or anything (eat, etc). I thought maybe it was a face mod conflict so I loaded the default character model over their appearance and the mouth still didn't move.

The lips move with all other 3 sims, but with one of them nothing. Restarted and reloaded the models several times. Any ideas? Thanks.

I may try completely ditching this one base character and starting over a new one with the same characteristics or loading a new sim entirely (not just looks overlay).

download better repack on ai shoujo site for steam version. You can take this on discord. Warnig, other version of better repack don't work with steam version

Sorry boss, I am not following you. I checked Illusion's website and have the only patch they offer for Steam. Then I joined the discord and did a search for 'steam repack' and didn't find anything. I will try asking in discord.

I tried swapping out the girl completely and the mouth still won't move for Slot 4. The mouth does move in character creator when I test voice pitch, but not in game. What character I put in Slot 4 doesn't seem to affect the mouth not moving issue. It seems tied to a bug in the slot.

The post linked above will contain a link and some information surrounding the better repack. It is a third party patch with various mods and modes contained within it.

As far as your bug is concerned, I've experiened it myself and sadly my only option seemed to have been to start a new game.

Well fudge. I got like 35 hours into building the perfect base. I will try starting over though.

I already had the repack installed and I tried re-installing it again, updating mods etc. It would be nice if I could copy over my residential build to a new save file. Let's see if it works first.

If you saved your housing then you can of course use it in the new game. Its save is separate from game save. Also once you have unlocked the residential island in your first playthrough you have access to free mode which has all the areas unlocked already. You would have to make a new game in free mode anyway if you want more than 4 girls.

Thank you for the assistance Dooberman. I have marked you as answer. Restarting a new game fixed the mouth sync fault with Girl Slot 4. It took me about 10 hours to rebuild all my bases in free mode, having to unlock recipes, but I enjoy the game so whateves.

Be sure to save your bases regularly. That way if you do have to start again you can just load them and be done with it. Dont need recipes unlocked to do that
