its the same for me, and sadly there doesnt seem to be a solution yet :( we have to wait until the first patches are coming, or modders find a way to fix this issue.

I've been testing and you earn more FPS by disabling shadows.

but in my case it only gave me like 3-4 fps...not enough to get a fluid game-experience :/

The system requirements for this game and for most illusion games tbh is a fcking meme.

Game sure as hell don't look good enough to be so demanding performance wise and yet it does because illusion have always been notoriously bad at optimizing their open world games.

I'm running a 2070 super and a 3700x and with that on max graphics settings, I am only getting an average of 30fps with the frame rate changing very noticeably from 50 to 25fps depending on where you I'm at.

Although for the kind of game this is, that level of framerate is serviceable but I honestly can't imagine how others with a weaker rig are gonna even be able to play this game.

they must optimize the shadow problem on this game, that eat lots of FPS for me

Try to turn off Anti Aliasing and Anisotropic in the Graphic settings. The Graphic still looks fine and I got 10FPS more.

I don't know now whats wrong with the Game.. it goes sometimes down to 13FPS and that is no fun anymore... 20FPS was okay and the limit but everything down this limit is ♥♥♥♥...

My PC is an i7 8750H tacted on 3GHz 6Core with 32GB DDR4 2667MHz and GTX1050 4GB GDDR5 7000MHz... and no big heat just 65 to 79°C on this Game so no throttling. I don't figure out what goes wrong for the low FPS.

I could play Skyrim with highest Graphic setting with 3x fps on the same PC. Not to mention how much interaction and animation skyrim contains within a single zone.
I dont think they optimized the game properly.

I have a M.2 Samsung EVO 970, and that would not be the reason for the poor performance in this game, that even a cheaper mechanical disk on the market is enough for this game.

the game is optimized like ♥♥♥♥, even if the game is kept to a minimum, you still have some brutal FPS drops.

How much fps you got?
I'm play in SSD Samsung EVO860 with RTX 2080 Ti and i9 9900K. I got 30fps and running smooth for this games

You can get smooth like 60fps because this games many bug and bad animation. Just fun bro

I am running a ryzen 9 3900x 32gb memory and an rtx 3070 and getting 19 avg fps.
the game is only using 700mb of my gpu and 2gb of my memory which would mean that the game is not properly allocating memory
