Game crashing on second zone

Twice I have been playing levels on the second zone and the game has frozen with music still playing, then screen will go dark with music still playing, then music stops and steam still says game is running even after I force quit. First time I was traveling between two rooms and it happened, second time I was playing normally, in the fourth or fifth room, and it just stopped. Any suggestions?

That's the kind of bug I'm hating because it happens on only one device and you don't know why, especially if the powering engine is involved,

- travelling between 2 rooms (you mean 2 "levels" right?)
it happens at some times, but normally you can blind press start button, you don't see the pause menu but you can still use it to save n quit,
But I guess your bug wasn't that one unfortunately.

- playing normally : did the music continue playing too? or did the blackscreen appeared suddenly from nowhere ?

Yes, it happened once when the screen transitioned between two levels, and then a few times in the middle of the level when I was moving normally. The music continues playing and the screen freezes (so I can still see the game but not move). After a little bit (20 seconds?) the screen goes black and the music keeps playing, then a little while longer the music cuts out as well.

My game updated today and I went back in to see if I could describe the crash better, but it seems as though the update fixed it. I just played for a while with zero issues. The crash was happening so consistently for me yesterday that it does appear the update fixed it.

Oh great news then, so I'm not sure what happened but if it looks solved lol...
Don't hesitate to tell me if the bug come back but let's hope it does'nt !!

game crashes at the end of world 2 consistently for me

I'm having the same problem. the game used to work fine for me, but now it doesn't. it will consistently hang on a black screen when transitioning from 2-2 to 2-3. it won't let me do anything except pause and exit to menu(blindly).

EDIT: I walked into the loading zone instead of dashing through it, and that worked. if anyone else is having this specific issue, that before anything else.
