FS98, FS2000, FS2002, FS2004, FSX. And don't forget that MSFS2020 is the first MSFS where the game got so many updates. The world map is several petabytes in size and is streamed to your PC. All this costs a lot of money. You can always switch to X-Plane, where you can also buy the new game every X years, or go back to Prepar3D. How many free planes have you got over the last few years?
Most stuff from MSFS2020 will also work in MSFS2024. Did you ever owned FSX or even older versions? Everything spent/bought for those games, where not transferable to new versions.
Is it that the people complaining the most have never owned FSX or older or X-Plane? People demand the world for free, Microsoft gives so many free planes and updates where you would normally spend around $20 on the aftermarket for planes etc. Do you people also work for $1 a day or how do you expect MS to pay for all this?
MSFS2020 already had a 20% discount in the past, so people can just wait for MSFS2024 with 20%+ off.
Will it be a video game or a slideshow? The requirements shown on the current games storepage are a joke but at least we would know what to sort of expect besides pretty marketing videos.
