Military Aircraft

I, personally, would love to see military aircraft implemented into the game. Mind you, I do not mean weaponry. While that would be the bee's knees, this is a flight sim and not a combat flight sim. I'd even be willing to pay for said aircraft as paid DLC and not just a mod. In fact, where is that "take my money" gif... hmmm...

But, Keet, of which aircraft are you speaking?

Umm... all of them? XD

F-18 is a classic choice. It is an amazing aircraft and a joy to fly on other sims. I am a fighter junkie so along those line the F-16, F-22, F-104, F-4, P51, Me 262, Spitfire, P39, P38, F4U, F-117, F-15, MiG-29, and the F-14 are all really great. Really I could go on and on. Oh and the helicopters... or bombers even. Okay I don't even know where this is going. But! I would be overwhelmingly delighted to see any of the above or others not mentioned implemented in any way.

Above all, I think I would wish for the YF-23. It is a seldom known aircraft, but in my humble opinion it is the best looking fighter. Even if... you know.. it lost to the F-22.

Some may not that I didn't include the F-35. While yes, it may be one hell of an aircraft, it also looks like a guinea pig that was shaved, stretched, and painted gray.

I flew over a couple in Australia and they had the runways and buildings and you could land there

LOL, load up google earth... Much more detail than in MSFS. No, it has nothing to do with NS lol.

It's the auto generation that's failing. Sometimes it looks good and sometimes not. My home town is just 1 floor buildings while irl it has 8 floor high buildings. It's even missing the church and castle on the hill. It's all country side villas in FS2020.

only been to bases in the UK so far but quite a few and all seem quite nice

1) "There will be no military planes" - source?

2) Military aircraft doesn't equal a kiddy game and to say so shows some significant ignorance, or a desire to troll. It doesn't mean wanting a combat simulator (itself also not a kiddy genre) and it doesn't necessarily mean fast jets

3) FSX shipped with military aircraft included in default aircraft set

I bet you don't even know how many firing modes does an aim 120 amraam have :p

Anyway I want something like the old vrs f18e add on for fsx back then, even without actual combat capability I'd still want it, just make the radar and targeting pods work is enough for me, I'd even settle for just basic avionics system working.

i'm sure, in time, there will be military aircraft to fly, and also things like helicopters. I mean most of the previous sims had it.

The manual for the A10C in DCS is 600 pages. The Mirage 2000C manual is 320 pages. The F5E manual is 290 pages.

That's just 3 planes and over 1,200 pages of unique documentation. Tell me again how military aircraft = 'kiddy game'?

This is the most ridiculous comment I have seen so far. I think the irony here is that you, in fact must be a young individual who thought it was going to be funny to make such a comment thinking others would agree with you. Fact is, anyone who actually enjoys Flight Sims will surely appreciate all types of aircraft to be able to fly. That is what a Flight Sim are for.. Experiencing flying all kinds of planes as realistic as possible.
